30am Preferred software capabilities Microsoft Outlook Teams Excel Word Inspection Polyworks (Willing to train and send to advanced training down the road) Preferred tool capabilities Tape Measure Calipers Micrometers CMM (Willing to train and send to advanced training down the road) Must be able to read 2D prints and have the ability to use 3D models (CAD data) for day to day inspection.
Primary responsibility is to certify in process parts and finished goods.
This role is 90% on the shop floor day to day with 10% of the role being in office paperwork.
Will directly report to Operations and Plant Manager.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Use various measurement tools and techniques to verify dimensional accuracy and product functionality.
Identify and document any defects, non-conformities, or deviations from specifications.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and non-compliance issues.
Collaborate with different teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
Stay updated on relevant quality standards and industry regulations.
Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines.
Assist in training employees on quality control practices and procedures.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
At least 1-2 years of experience Use measurement tools and techniques, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs, to verify dimensional accuracy.
Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or non-conformities.
Familiarity with measurement tools and techniques.
Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Proficient in documenting inspection results and generating reports.
